As you may be aware, the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Chicago Department of Transportation have announced that the reconstruction of Upper and Lower Wacker Drive from Congress Parkway to Randolph Street will begin April 1, 2010. The project is scheduled to be completed in December 2012. Additionally, there are three other major projects that will take place in the area including Eisenhower Expressway resurfacing from the Circle Interchange to Thorndale, Congress Parkway Bridge reconstruction, and Congress Parkway streetscape improvements from Wells Street to Michigan Avenue.
