This spring, we will be replacing the 26th floor roof. Exterior scaffolding was installed from the 25th floor to the 26th floor along the east and west elevations for access in an effort to minimize any disturbances to our tenants. A reflective coating will be applied to any exposed roof membrane following the completion of the facade survey of the tower floors as noted below. We anticipate the project will be completed by May 4th, 2014, weather permitting.
In addition to the roof replacement, we are currently working on details for facade examinations and repairs. While our priority remains public safety, over the past several years our facade repair program has also focused on addressing the facade conditions on a long-term (quasi-permanent) basis minimizing the need to access portions of the building for future inspections and repairs. We will provide additional details regarding the facade program schedule as it is available.
